The
Classic Flame Job
The first custom job completed after
our acquisition of SMS, this was a beauty. If you know what it takes to do
this, you know that it’s several layers of paint, all resulting in edges that stick
up over the base. This was so well applied, sanded and finished that it was a
smooth as a baby’s bottom.This is a show winner!

Just A Classic!
This sweet looking ’92 Vert had seen
better days and, when we purchased SMS, had languished in “Dead Pony” row
behind the shop for nearly a year. We brought it in and began its
transformation into the sleek black beauty you see here. Have your own withered
Pony? Let us give it new life.
SMS
Produces a Full Custom
James Ford brought us a rare but tired ’86 GT T-Top a
few months back looking for a complete make-over. He chose a fiberglass flared
fender kit as the basic theme. Many hours of labor went into the molding and
blending of the fender kit into the original body and making everything fit
correctly. Saleen side skirts were chosen to fit the
overall look along with the Cobra front fascia and a Cobra R wing. The hood is
a three tiered Cobra R-SVO design. A three stage Dark
Flame Red paint gave it this head-turning finish. We completely rebuilt the
suspension with Eibach coil-overs
and tubular A-arms and spread the stance to fill those flared fenders. James
capped them off with some nice chrome Bullitt style wheels and Pony knock-off
caps.

In The Paint Booth is another full custom, Fernando Alicea’s ’93 GT with Lambo doors,
shaved door handles and a sparkling metalflake paint
