Adam Tiberi’s
2008 GT500
An Aussie from down
under, Adam wanted to make his GT500 something to talk about around the
‘barbie’ when he takes it back home. Not too much, just enough to set it apart
from others. To improve handling, we added the Eibach Pro Plus suspension, a
great package for significantly improving the handling qualities of this
heavyweight while keeping good street car manners and comfort. Maximum
Motorsports caster camber plates let us bring the geometry back in spec.
Helping firm things up are a Ford Racing strut tower brace and BMR adjustable
panhard bar. The
The Eibach suspension
gives it a nice stance.
Adam’s motor stayed
virtually stock except for a K&N intake.
But dyno tuning gave it
another 70 HP!
(Note: the baseline run was terminated early due to
lean fuel condition. Peak horsepower would likely have been in the 420+ range.)
