Our First Shelby GT500

Wayne Hudson brought this brand new Shelby GT500 to us straight from the dealorship for few upgrades. He wanted his special car to be extra special. We installed JBA’s 3 inch manifold back exhaust and Steeda’s cold air intake and supercharger pulley. We first baselined the car and it ran true to Shelby’s design with 446 HP at the wheel (524 FWHP).

We first installed the Steeda cold air kit and tuned the car. Got a substantial 72 HP increase!

We then removed the CAI and installed JBA’s 3 inch exhaust, tuned the car to the exhaust’s potential and baselined it again. 42 HP! An impressive result for an exhaust upgrade.

We then re-installed the Steeda cold air kit, installed the Steeda pulley and began the final tuning.

The results were awesome! For such a minimal hardware upgrade, a 104 HP gain!!
